Iraqi Soccer Player Gets Shot in the Head During a Game

March 16, 2009

Yesterday, I was watching Penis Cheney’s first interview since leaving the White House.

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt when he said that the way to get the economy kick started was by giving tax breaks to those that can create jobs (ie. rich).  After about 3 seconds of thought, I decided that doesn’t make too much sense to me.  He’s essentially saying we should give tax breaks to the people that are least affected by the recession/depression.

Then he was asked about Iraq and he said that the Bush Administration accomplished many of their goals in Iraq.  Having never gone to Iraq, I didn’t have too much of an opinion on whether the quality of life in Iraq has improved (but I do believe that we should have gone after Bin Laden in Afghanistan – kinda like how you go after Japan if they bomb Pearl Harbor – you do not go after China).

Anyways, I get up this morning and see that an Iraqi soccer player was shot in the head during a game  just before scoring a decisive goal.

Thank God Cheney (and Bush) are out of office now.  Now Cheney has plenty of time to inject even more Botox into his grill.

Shorter Cheney: the best way to fix the economic mess Bush and Cheney got us into is more economic policies from Bush and Cheney.
