Update on USDBF Time Trials this Weekend in San Diego

April 13, 2009

There is a POSSIBILITY that we will not have to bring any of our oc1s down.  Les Hopper has been in contact with Huki and Ocean Ohana to see if he can get similar boats in the time trial heats in hope of removing some of the variables associated with racing different boats.  I will be updated likely this evening and will post more when I  hear more.

For the Long Beach guys and gals, there is no need to stay through Sunday as we’ll be able to take care of both of the components of the test (time trial and blending in a dragon boat) on Saturday.

If you are trying out for the U23 Team (under 23), there is no need to tryout at this point.  If there is more than enough interest, there will be some sort of testing announced in the future; however, you are welcome to head down to SD to see how you do against everyone that is testing.  I will have more information on the U23 division in the next few days.
