Charice sung the national anthem at Opening Day at Dodger Stadium last night.  Her performance was perhaps the best rendition of the national anthem I have heard at any sporting event (right up there with Marvin Gaye’s rendition at the Fabulous Forum many years ago).

There’s also a brief tribute to fallen Angel pitcher Nick Adenhart and long time Phillie announcer Harry Kalas.

The night was capped of by the Dodgers DESTROYING the Hated Ones and Randy Johnson (SUC grad).

Enjoy.

(Anthem starts at 3:16)

Charice is awesome! I’ve seen her on a few specials (Oprah & Celine Dion). Her amazing talent has helped her and her family get out of a real hardship. Check out this duet with Celine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_R_3xa5hoQ.

Sorry, posted bad link. It doesn’t do her justice.
