Update on Long Beach Practice Time

May 13, 2009

I had a great conversation with Mike B. this morning about the proposed reduction in practice time.

After that, he spoke to Dr. Chen about the situation.

Long story short, the year-round teams will maintain their 1.5 hour time slot.

Special thanks to Mike and Dr. Chen for listening to the paddling community concerns.

Thanks for your comments – they went a long way in making this decision.

Thanks, Scott – appreciate you bringing the collective view and interests of the community to the association. Was just about to shoot an email over and was planning on talking in person tonight. Thanks Mike, Dr. Chen, and the rest of the association for understanding and for all you do.
