Kahakai Sprints

Contra Costa Times has an article on the Kahakai Sprints held yesterday in Long Beach at Marine Stadium.

“Avid paddlers say part of their love for the sport is the sense of “ohana,” a Hawaiian term for family, and the connection with Polynesian culture.”

We just call it “LARD”.
